ABOUT

Home: Los Osos, California
Age: 19

I participated in four races in the 2008 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Presented by Crown Royal Cask 16 in the GT class in a Pontiac GXP.R with PR1 Motorsports. I scored PR1 Motorsports best finish of the season when I brought the car home in 4th place at the seven hour season finale at Miller Motorsports Park, Utah. I also led the first 30 minutes of the New Jersey Motorsports Park event, the team's only laps led of their inaugural season.

I participated in the 2007 Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy in England as a winner of the prestigious Team USA Scholarship. For three weeks I got the chance to travel around England and visit with fellow racers, team owners and others involved in auto racing. Prior to the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy I was awarded a tests in a Formula Atlantic car with the Pacific Coast Motorsports Jr. team and with Andersen Racing Team in a Star Mazda car.

I won the 2007 Pacific F2000 Championship Series with a record eight wins, three seconds and a seventh in twelve starts. I drove the number 3 Jim Russell Racing School/Alpinestars Van Diemen RF05 Ford Zetec for PR1 Motorsports. The team is owned by Bobby and Lisa Oergel who have now won three Formula Ford F2000 championships since 2002. The most recent rounds in the championship where held on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway road course where I claimed my 28th career open wheel victory.

I captured the 2006 SCCA Formula Russell Championship title, Rookie of the Year honors and the single season win record with twelve victories, four seconds, one third and six poles as well as five track records and seven fast race laps in seventeen starts. I wrapped up the championship in August and took my eleventh win in September as I broke Scott Speed's season win record. The Jim Russell Racing School series, based at Infineon Raceway, has claimed as its recent champions American Formula One ace Scott Speed and current Champ Car Atlantic driver J.R. Hildebrand.

I participated in Skip Barber's 3-Day Racing School at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California in June of 2005. In July I completed Skip Barber's 2-Day Advanced Racing School at Circuit Mont Tremblant in Quebec, Canada. There, I took part in my first open wheel race weekend and won both Saturday and Sunday races. I participated in the Skip Barber 2005-06 Western Winter Series at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and earned several more victories and was runner-up in the three race, Triple Crown Championship. I was invited as one of the sixteen top karters in the country to participate in the 2006 Skip Barber National Scholarship Shootout in Formula Dodges at Sebring International Raceway in Florida.

My racing career began in karts in the Spring of 2000 when I was ten years old. I raced and won titles at the regional and national level while racing in Stars of Karting, International Karting Federation and the World Karting Association at tracks in California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Florida and British Columbia.

I plan on earning a living as a professional race car driver. The Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series GT class represents my best opportunity to further refine my racing skills and create corporate marketing partner relationships necessary to have a career as a successful professional race car driver.
